We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Surgery Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to provide inpatient coverage in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). This opportunity offers the chance to work with a collaborative cardiac care team in a hospital-based setting.

🏥 Position Overview

• Specialty: Cardiovascular Surgery APP (NP/PA)

• Practice Setting: Inpatient – Cardiovascular ICU

• Start Date: As soon as credentialed

• Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90–120 days

• Patient Population: Adult

⏰ Schedule

• 12-hour shifts

• Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

• Night Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

• Swing Shift: 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM

• Weekdays and weekends available

• No call required

🩺 Practice Details

• Average Patients per Day: 12

• APP will work autonomously with supervising physician available

• Hospital-based CVICU environment

• EMR: Epic

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Manage post-operative cardiovascular surgery patients

• Provide autonomous care for adult CVICU patients

• Perform advanced cardiovascular monitoring

• Collaborate with surgeons, intensivists, and care teams

• Flight

• Hotel

• Rental car or mileage reimbursement (IRS standard rate)

✅ Requirements

• Board Certified NP or PA (AANP / NCCPA)

• Active Michigan license

• Acute Care trained and certified

• Self-Query NPDB report within 30 days
