A premier healthcare facility in Monroeville, Pennsylvania is seeking a Board-Certified Physician Assistant to join its Cardiothoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery team. This role offers a balanced mix of inpatient surgical coverage and outpatient clinic responsibilities. Candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of the worksite are eligible under local radius guidelines. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside an experienced CVI team managing complex cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgical cases.
Job Responsibilities
• First assist in cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgical procedures
• Conduct pre-operative and post-operative evaluations
• Manage patient care in hospital and clinic settings
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in outpatient clinic visits one day per week
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and quality standards
Qualifications
• Active Pennsylvania State License
• DEA License required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
• Minimum credentialing timeframe: 60+ days
Working Hours
• 5 days per week
• 4 days inpatient/surgery shifts
• 1 day outpatient clinic
