Join a fast-growing outpatient cardiology practice delivering comprehensive cardiovascular care in a collaborative, team-based environment. This Physician Assistant role offers the opportunity to work closely with board-certified cardiologists while managing a diverse patient population in a high-volume ambulatory setting in the Bronx, NY, serving communities across New York City.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cardiovascular assessments, including detailed patient histories and physical examinations
• Evaluate and manage patients with hypertension, coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and hyperlipidemia
• Order, review, and interpret diagnostic tests (EKGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, Holter/event monitors, laboratory studies)
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with cardiologists
• Prescribe medications and manage ongoing therapy per evidence-based guidelines
• Provide patient education on disease management, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications
• Accurately document clinical encounters within the EMR system
• Coordinate care with referring providers, imaging departments, and ancillary services
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and cardiology clinical protocols

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Active Physician Assistant license in New York State
• NCCPA certification
• Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
