We are seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) β Cardiology to join a growing ambulatory cardiology practice. π©Ί Key Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive cardiovascular assessments, including histories and physical exams
-
Evaluate and manage patients with hypertension, CAD, heart failure, arrhythmias, hyperlipidemia, and other cardiac conditions
-
Order, review, and interpret diagnostic tests (EKGs, echos, stress tests, Holter/event monitors, labs)

Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with cardiologists

Prescribe and manage medications per clinical guidelines

Provide patient education on disease management, medications, and lifestyle modifications

Document all encounters accurately in the EMR

Coordinate care with referring providers, imaging, and ancillary services

Support quality initiatives and clinical protocols within the cardiology service line
β Required Qualifications
-
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
-
Active PA license in New York
-
NCCPA certification
-
Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
β Preferred Qualifications
-
Outpatient cardiology experience (1+ year preferred; strong new grads considered)

Experience with EPIC or similar EMR systems
-
BLS/ACLS certified
