We are seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) – Cardiology to join a growing ambulatory cardiology practice. This role offers the chance to work closely with cardiologists in a fast-paced outpatient environment, providing comprehensive cardiovascular care and making a meaningful impact on patients’ heart health.

🩺 Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive cardiovascular assessments, including histories and physical exams

  • Evaluate and manage patients with hypertension, CAD, heart failure, arrhythmias, hyperlipidemia, and other cardiac conditions

  • Order, review, and interpret diagnostic tests (EKGs, echos, stress tests, Holter/event monitors, labs)

  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with cardiologists

  • Prescribe and manage medications per clinical guidelines

  • Provide patient education on disease management, medications, and lifestyle modifications

  • Document all encounters accurately in the EMR

  • Coordinate care with referring providers, imaging, and ancillary services

  • Support quality initiatives and clinical protocols within the cardiology service line

βœ… Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program

  • Active PA license in New York

  • NCCPA certification

  • Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

⭐ Preferred Qualifications

  • Outpatient cardiology experience (1+ year preferred; strong new grads considered)

  • Experience with EPIC or similar EMR systems

  • BLS/ACLS certified
