Job description
Cardiovascular Consultants of South Georgia (CVCSG) is recruiting a full-time Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team of providers who are motivated to meet the highest possible standards of patient care. This role will be predominantly outpatient-focused, with the majority of time spent in the clinic setting with occasional responsibilities in the hospital. We value team members who are forward-thinking and consistently strive for excellence in serving our patients and supporting one another.
Responsibilities:
Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will function as an extension of the physician in diagnosing and developing treatment plans. It is essential that this individual possesses sound clinical assessment and evaluation, effective management of time and priorities, strong application of critical thinking skills, and excellent interpersonal skills with patients, families, and all CVSG team members.
Education/Experience
Experience in cardiology is highly preferred and current licensure as Nurse Practitioner in State of Georgia and national certification are required. Current ACLS and BLS are also required. We are seeking candidates who value ongoing professional growth and are dedicated to staying current in the evolving field of cardiology.
