A healthcare organization in Silverdale, WA, is seeking an experienced Cardiology Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide full-time outpatient cardiology coverage on a locum tenens basis. This is a Monday–Friday outpatient-only role with no nights, weekends, call, procedures, or inpatient responsibilities.
Compensation: $120 per hour
Schedule:
- Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Days: Monday–Friday
- Setting: Outpatient clinic only
Patient Volume & Duties:
- Patient Volume: Approximately 16 follow-up and established patient visits per day
- Consultations: None; follow-up and established patients only
- Additional Responsibilities: Inbox coverage and management for absent providers
- Must demonstrate strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills
- Must be able to work independently within a team-based care model
- Must be proficient in interpreting cardiology imaging and diagnostic testing results to manage complex patients
Requirements:
- Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with prior cardiology experience
- Active Washington (WA) state license
- DEA and NPI required
