Locum Cardiology Physician Assistant needed in Silverdale, Washington

Seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (ARNP or PA) to provide full-time outpatient cardiology coverage on a locum tenens basis. This clinic-only role focuses on follow-up, annual, and acute outpatient cardiology visits, with no inpatient responsibilities, procedures, call, or weekends. The provider will also support inbox management for cardiology clinicians who are out of office.

Schedule / Assignment

• Start: As soon as credentialed

• Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

• Duration: 6–9 months

• Must work full-time (no one-week-on/off schedules)

• Expected patient volume: ~16 patients per day (30-minute visits), beginning one week after start

Job Details / Responsibilities

• Outpatient follow-up, established patient, and acute cardiology visits

• No hospital rounding, inpatient work, procedures, call, or weekends

• Manage provider inbox messages and tasks

• Interpret cardiology imaging and diagnostic testing for ongoing patient management

• Work independently within a collaborative, team-based clinic

• Utilize EPIC EMR

• Supported by MAs, RNs, and front office staff

• Coverage needed due to APP departure

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Active Washington state license

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of outpatient cardiology (required)

• EPIC experience (required)

• DEA and NPI (required)

• Clean malpractice history highly preferred

• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills

• Ability to manage complex cardiology patients independently
