NP Cardiology opportunity in Bowling Green, KY - 1 hour from Nashville TN - Service area of over 100,000 people *The City of Bowling Green is nationally recognized by the US Chamber of Commerce for its economic development performance for seventh consecutive year* Position Details:
- Full time, permanent opening
- Seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide direct patient care.
- The Nurse Practitioner works in collaboration with the Physician as well as nursing and support services to provide patient-focused care
- This position offers a Monday through Friday schedule and will cover weekend rounds.
- Works in collaboration with the Physician as well as nursing and support services to provide patient-focused care
- Performs history & physicals, documentation of findings; communication with collaborating Provide
- Orders appropriate diagnostic testing; reviews results/ informs patients & Providers of findings and required follow up
- Patient education and support.
- Ensures continuity of care for follow-up treatments.
- Other duties as necessary under direction of Provider/s and Administration.
- As expected with all healthcare positions, must adhere to HIPAA/OSHA regulations and maintain annual required workplace trainings.
