Our client, a leading healthcare provider specializing in pain management and orthopedics, is hiring a Physician Assistant, Pain Management to join a dedicated team committed to delivering exceptional patient care. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in pain management and orthopedic care within a dynamic environment focused on long-term team growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and treat patients with a focus on pain management and orthopedic conditions.
  • Perform trigger injections, IV injections, and other interventional procedures.
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 10 to 15 patients daily, ensuring thorough documentation
  • Collaborate with virtual assistants for administrative support while maintaining responsibility for note completion.
  • Travel to multiple NYC locations, approximately 2-3 days per week, with paid travel time factored into scheduling.
  • Assist in prescribing narcotics and controlled substances as per legal guidelines.
  • Maintain flexibility in working hours, primarily scheduled from 11 am to 7 pm, with adjustments as needed.
  • Participate in ongoing training and shadowing opportunities to enhance clinical skills.

Requirements:

  • Completion of accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • 4 years of experience in pain management and/or orthopedic care.
  • Strong interest and experience in pain management procedures, including trigger injections.
  • Comfortable traveling between NYC locations and working independently.
  • Proficiency in EMR systems
  • Ability to perform procedures confidently and prioritize patient safety.
  • Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor.
  • Authorized to prescribe narcotics and controlled substances in accordance with state and federal regulations.
