Cardiology Advanced Practice Provider – Outpatient Clinic Only
Location: Silverdale, WA
Assignment Duration: 6–9 months
Start Date: As soon as credentialed
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Hourly Rate: $120/hr (straight time, no OT)
FTE: 1.0
Trauma Level: Level III
Bed Size: approximately 248 beds.
Description
This is a clinic-only outpatient cardiology position with no inpatient care, rounding, procedural work, call, or weekend duties. The provider will manage follow-up visits after procedures, annual cardiology visits, acute outpatient visits, and inbox coverage for providers who are out of office. The role is ideal for an experienced cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant seeking a stable 6–9-month locum assignment in a team-based care environment.

Job Responsibilities
Manage approximately 16 patient visits per day
Assess and treat acute outpatient cardiology concerns
Perform inbox coverage and message management for absent providers
Interpret cardiology imaging and diagnostic test results
Document care using EPIC EMR
Collaborate with medical assistants, RNs, and front-office support staff
Work independently while contributing to a team-based care model
Qualifications
Active Washington State PA or NP license
DEA and NPI
Outpatient cardiology experience
Proficiency with EPIC EMR
Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic interpretation skills
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Highly Preferred:
Clean malpractice history

No call, no weekends
