We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (ARNP or PA) to join our outpatient cardiology team on a locum tenens basis.
This is a clinic-only role with no inpatient care, no procedures, no call, and no weekends.
The APP will support established cardiology patients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a high-quality outpatient environment.
Assignment Details:
Start Date: As soon as credentialed
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Duration: 6–9 months
FTE: 1.0
Setting: Outpatient cardiology clinic
EMR: EPIC
Support Staff: Full MA, RN, and front-office support
Patient Volume: Approximately 16 patients per day
Procedures Required: None
Key Responsibilities:
Provide outpatient cardiology follow-up care, including post-procedure visits and annual evaluations
Manage acute outpatient cardiology visits
Provide inbox management and coverage for providers who are out of office
Interpret cardiology imaging and diagnostic testing results to support care of complex patients
Deliver high-quality clinical assessment, documentation, and patient communication
Practice independently within a collaborative, team-based environment
Requirements:
Active Washington State License
DEA & NPI – Required
Outpatient cardiology experience
EPIC proficiency
Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
