A leading healthcare organization in New Haven, Connecticut, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join its Cardiac Electrophysiology team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality patient care, perform pre- and post-procedure assessments, manage follow-up care, and collaborate closely with physicians and the broader care team. Job Description:


Compensation : $125000 - $145000 Job ID : 37889

Job Function:

  • Provide care to electrophysiology patients in the EP clinic.

  • Manage implantable cardiac devices, including pacemakers, defibrillators, and loop monitors.

  • Oversee treatment plans for arrhythmia patients, including anti-arrhythmic medications and anticoagulation.

  • Conduct telephone triage to support patients and address clinical inquiries.

  • Assist administrative staff with prior authorizations and peer-to-peer reviews for surgical scheduling.

  • Support physicians with inpatient consultations and care coordination.


Job Requirements:

  • Active Connecticut state license.

  • DEA and CSR (active or in process preferred, but not required).

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) program.

  • 1 year of cardiology experience; electrophysiology experience preferred.

Qualifications

Active Connecticut state license.

DEA and CSR (active or in process preferred, but not required).

Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) program.

1 year of cardiology experience; electrophysiology experience preferred.
