Physician Assistant (PA) Neuroendovascular

Our client, a leading academic medical center renowned for its advanced neurosurgical and neuroendovascular care, is hiring a Physician Assistant (PA) Neuroendovascular. This pivotal role involves providing expert clinical and procedural care for patients with cerebrovascular conditions, assisting in complex neurointerventional procedures, and supporting a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient histories, physical exams, and pre-procedure assessments for neuroendovascular patients.
• Assist in neuroendovascular procedures, including patient preparation and post-procedure management, under the supervision of attending physicians.
• Participate in inpatient rounds, develop care plans, and facilitate safe discharges.
• Support outpatient clinics with patient evaluations, follow-ups, and documentation.
• Assist with procedural scheduling, coordinate interdepartmental activities, and partake in quality improvement initiatives.
• Serve as a liaison between neuroendovascular and neurosurgery teams for seamless patient care.
• Provide support in general neurosurgery tasks such as admit, discharge, and emergency procedures as needed.

Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current NYS PA license and registration, NCCPA certification (PA-C).
• Active DEA license and Infection Control certification.
• ACLS and BLS certifications preferred.
• Prior experience in Neurosurgery, Interventional Radiology, Neurology, or a procedural specialty is advantageous.
• Strong clinical judgment, procedural skills, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent communication, organization, and EMR proficiency.
