Growing cardiology team in the Carrollton, Georgia area is seeking to add another physician assistant or nurse practitioner to their team! Ideal candidates will have prior experience in cardiology, pulmonology, internal medicine, or other relevant fields, however the group is also very willing to train candidates without prior experience.

Responsibilities:

• Full time permanent position - Cardiology
• Monday-Friday schedule, 8 AM to 5 PM
• See new patients and follow up patients in clinic and round on hospital inpatients
• Assess patient health through interviews and physical examinations
• Conduct stress tests
• Provide counsel and medical treatment to patients
• Educate patients on overall wellness and health maintenance
• Develop and implement patient management plans

Qualifications:

• Georgia Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner License (or ability to obtain)
• Previous experience in cardiology or other relevant fields
• Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to learn
• EMR proficient
