Collegial and thriving community health center is seeking a Nurse Practitioner/NP or Physician Assistant/PA in the York Pennsylvania area! Beautiful suburban community less than two hours from Philadelphia and Baltimore! Almost 2 months off per year, paid!

Federally qualified community health center that understands not every individual or community shares the same needs. We provide primary medical, dental, behavioral health, and optometry care at eight convenient locations in diverse geographic regions across Lebanon, York, Adams, and Lancaster Counties to serve our patients. We also provide social service programs for those living with HIV/AIDS and first-time mothers, as well as substance use service programs. Our goals include promoting and supporting healthy lifestyles, collaborating with others to improve access and break down the barriers of affordability, language, and culture; and advocating for our patients and the medically underserved.

Your Role with the Company:

  • 18-20 patients per day
  • Providing evaluations, treatment, and medication management in the outpatient setting
  • NP / PA will see all ages but primarily adults
  • NP or PA will provide the full scope of primary medical care to patients including diagnosis and treatment of a broad range of conditions. The Physician will also document patient visits and monitor and facilitate other activities related to patient care. The Physician will work alongside their support staff team to treat patients and multiple generations of the same families in an outpatient setting.
  • Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will need to be committed to safe, ethical, and excellent clinical practice; and have the desire to make a difference in the community that they serve
  • Very light call
