Eastern Maine Medical Center’s Bariatric Medicine program has an exciting opportunity for a certified nurse practitioner to provide care and education for patients who are part of our expanding Bariatric Medicine program. This is a specialized program designed to safely jump start weight loss and empower patients with the tools to maintain it. Eastern Maine Medical Center is one of only a few bariatric centers to offer not only a multi-disciplinary surgical weight loss program, but also a non-surgical, physician-supervised weight loss program for those who do not quality for or do not wish to have surgery.

Candidates must be certified and hold a current Maine license or be immediately eligible for the same. Primary care practice experience preferred.
