I have a great opportunity for a CRNA with leadership experience and desire to grow, direct and coordinate the activities of Nurse Anesthetists. The CRNA manager will administer activities to 15-20 CRNAs during surgical procedures, including personnel and fiscal activities while maintaining and performing all duties and responsibilities of a staff CRNA.
Essential Functions:
-Assists CRNAs with clinical problem solving
-Monitors and evaluate staff to ensure excellent patient care
-Manage staffing schedule and room assignments for CRNAs
-Attend management meetings concerning the OR and department as needed. Ensures that licensure of staff is current
-Provides clinical/educational updates to entire staff on a regular basis
-Work closely with other departments such as nursing, surgery, post-anesthesia care units, outpatient surgery, admissions, administration, laboratory, pharmacy, etc
-Manage and monitor SRNA's
Scope and Complexity:
-Participate in activities that foster management skills
-Fiscal and budget management
-Work closely with physicians and other clinicians in a team approach to patient care
Required Qualifications:
-Current Board Certification
-Current Arizona License
-Critical Care training and experience
-Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS
