Locums | Neurosurgery APP (NP or PA) | Seattle, WA (WA or IMLC) Why This Role

  • First assist not required
  • Temporary privileges available
  • Ongoing full-time coverage
Assignment Details Start/end: ASAP once privileged, ongoing Schedule: 4x10s/week, 7am-5pm; occasional weekend call Coverage type: Inpatient clinical hours + occasional weekend beeper call Volume: ~10 patients/shift; rounding on assigned patients Setting: Inpatient Neurosurgery; 12-bed department; stroke certified Support: 4 RNs, 4 MAs, 3 APPs, 4 office staff; no APP or resident supervision required EMR: Epic Credentialing: 30-60 days; temporary privileges available Clinical Details Required scope: Inpatient Neurosurgery APP coverage and patient rounding Weekend coverage: Round in the morning followed by 12-hour beeper call, typically 7am-7pm Preferred scope: Neurosurgical first assist experience is a plus, but not required Requirements Board certified NP or PA License: active WA or active IMLC Neurosurgery experience ACLS and BLS Active DEA Compensation Rate caps apply per facility Malpractice provided Travel and lodging reimbursed
