Locums | Neonatal NP | Lansing, MI (MI license) Why This Role

  • Level III NICU with supervising physician present
  • Day or night 12-hour shifts
  • Ongoing need, APP-only staffing model
  • Not autonomous — physician support on site
  • Full travel reimbursed
Assignment Details Start/end: July 5, 2026 - TBD; ongoing Schedule: Day 7:00a-7:30p or Night 7:00p-7:30a; includes weekends Coverage type: Inpatient NICU (Level III) Volume: 10-12 patients per APP per day Setting: Level III NICU; Level I trauma center Support: Supervising physician present during assignment (APP will not work autonomously) EMR: Epic Credentialing: ~120+ days Clinical Details Required scope: Delivery room attendance, neonatal resuscitation, PICC line placement, umbilical line placement, needle aspiration, chest tube placement Neonatal experience required (no new grads) Patient population: neonates Requirements Board certified (ANCC, AANP, NCCPA, etc.) License: Active full MI required (no new license candidates) Current NRP advanced provider or instructor status Active DEA Compensation Rate negotiable, open to your number Malpractice provided Travel and lodging reimbursed
