## Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) Opening | Belmont, NC Located in Belmont, North Carolina Full-Time, Permanent ## Practice Overview * Full-time Neonatal Nurse Practitioner opportunity in Belmont, North Carolina * Leadership opportunity to help establish and grow a brand-new Level I Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) Nursery * Practice in a newly developed 10-bed Level I Nursery with approximately 600 annual deliveries and an average daily census of 5 newborns * Work 24-hour shifts with daytime inpatient rounding and home call overnight * Perform daily newborn rounds, attend deliveries as requested, and provide newborn stabilization and management * Coordinate and facilitate neonatal transports to nearby Level III NICUs when higher levels of care are required * Join a dedicated team of four Neonatal Nurse Practitioners with close collaboration from a nearby Level III NICU staffed by Neonatologists and experienced NNPs * Optional opportunity to pick up supplemental PRN shifts at the affiliated Level III NICU, though not required * Practice within an award-winning health system recognized for excellence in patient care * Collaborative environment with strong physician support and opportunities for leadership in a growing neonatal program ## Compensation & Recruitment Package * Competitive compensation based on experience * Sign-on bonus may be available * Relocation assistance may be available * Tuition reimbursement opportunities * Recruitment incentives may be available ## Job Qualifications * Master's degree or Doctorate in Nursing required * Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) required * FNP, PNP, and other NP certifications are not accepted * Minimum of 2 years of current Neonatal Nurse Practitioner experience required (RN experience does not qualify) * North Carolina APRN license or eligibility * DEA registration required prior to start ## Benefits * Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance * Life insurance * Short- and long-term disability coverage * 401(k) with employer match * Employee stock purchase program * Long-term care insurance * Health Savings Account (HSA) * Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) * Identity protection benefits * Employee Assistance Program (EAP) * Supplemental hospital, accident, and critical illness coverage ## Community Details Belmont, North Carolina offers the charm of a historic small town with the convenience of being just 15 miles from Uptown Charlotte and only minutes from Charlotte Douglas International Airport.
