###Locums | Neurosurgery PA | Clinic + Call | Clearwater, FL ###Why This Role
- Join a well-established neurosurgery team with 4 neurosurgeons and 3 APPs
- Balanced role with both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
- Work at a 600+ bed hospital with a comprehensive stroke center
- Collaborative team with physician support during call
- Cerner EMR for documentation
- Credentialing timeframe approximately 30–60 days ###Assignment Details
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: Ongoing
- Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Call: Approximately 5–7 days per month
- Call Type: Beeper call
- Call Response Time: 30 minutes
- EMR: Cerner
- Patient Volume: 15–35 patients per shift ###Clinical Details
- 50% inpatient responsibilities including rounding and OR support
- 50% outpatient clinic responsibilities
- Adult neurosurgery patient population
- First assist in neurosurgical procedures
- Read and interpret basic imaging
- Brain and spine case exposure
- Weekend call shared 1:4 with physician support (less than 25% in-person)
- Support provided by established neurosurgery team ###Requirements
- Board Certified Physician Assistant
- Active Florida PA license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 1 year of neurosurgery APP experience
- Experience with brain and spine cases preferred ###Compensation
- Rate: Negotiable (tell us your rate)
