### Locums | NP – Cardiothoracic Surgery | Clinic + Call | Springfield, OH ### Why This Role
- High-acuity CV surgery environment with ICU exposure
- Collaborative team with cardiothoracic and vascular surgeons
- Mix of OR, ICU, and rounding responsibilities
- Strong support structure in a full-service hospital ### Assignment Details
- Start Date: April 2026
- End Date: July 2026
- Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
- Setting: Inpatient (OR + ICU/CVICU)
- Schedule: TBD (includes OR call and ICU call)
- EMR: Epic
- Patients per Day: 5–20
- Credentialing: 60–90 days (temps possible ~45 days)
- Will accept multiple providers: Not specified ### Requirements
- Board Certified NP (ANCC or AANP)
- ACLS
- COVID vaccination
- Cardiothoracic surgery experience preferred
- Will consider Critical Care experience (no new grads)
- OH license preferred (must be able to obtain quickly if not active)
- NPDB self-query (within 30 days) ### Clinical Details
- Cardiothoracic and vascular surgery patient care
- ICU/CVICU coverage and rounding
- Coordination of care and treatment planning
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Prescriptive authority required
- Surgical first assist not required
- Vein harvesting not required
- Adult and geriatric population ### Compensation
- Rates: Facility is accepting bids
