### Locums | PA – Cardiothoracic Surgery | Clinic + Call | Springfield, OH ### Why This Role
- High-acuity cardiothoracic surgery environment with ICU exposure
- Collaborative team with CV surgeons and support staff
- Mix of ICU rounding, OR support, and inpatient management
- Flexible consideration for CT surgery or strong critical care backgrounds ### Assignment Details
- Start Date: April 2026
- End Date: July 2026
- Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
- Setting: Inpatient (OR + ICU/CVICU)
- Schedule: TBD (includes OR and ICU call)
- EMR: Epic
- Patients per Day: 5–20
- Credentialing: 60–90 days (temps possible ~45 days) ### Requirements
- Board Certified Physician Assistant
- ACLS
- COVID vaccination
- Cardiothoracic surgery experience preferred
- Will consider Critical Care experience (no new grads)
- OH license preferred (must be obtainable quickly)
- NPDB self-query (within 30 days) ### Clinical Details
- Cardiothoracic and vascular patient management
- ICU/CVICU coverage and rounding
- Coordination of care, order entry, and test interpretation
- Prescriptive authority required
- First assist not required
- Vein harvesting not required
- Adult and geriatric patient population ### Compensation
- Rates: Facility is accepting bids
- Malpractice: Provided
- Travel/Lodging: Provided
