NP/PA Orthopedic needed in Oswego, New York -Located 20 miles from Syracuse; 70 miles from Rochester; 150 miles from Buffalo Position Details:

  • Full time, permanent opening
  • Seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing team with the Center for Orthopedic Care.
  • This candidate will conduct comprehensive patient histories and physical examinations for general orthopedic patients to include joint replacement, upper extremity, lower extremity and sports medicine.
  • Order, interpret and follow-up on diagnostic tests, including imaging studies and labs.
  • Manage pre-operative and post-operative patient care in an outpatient setting.
  • Provide patient education regarding procedures, treatment options and recover plans.
  • Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists and other members of an interdisciplinary care team to optimize patient outcomes.
  • This full-time position is ideal for an Advanced Practice Clinician who has 1-2 years of post-graduate experience, preferably in Orthopedics or a Primary Care setting.
