Locums | Cardiovascular Surgery PA| Clinic + Call | Lansing, MI Why This Role

  • Recent APP resignation creating immediate need
  • Established cardiac and vascular surgery service
  • Rounder role with no OR responsibilities
Assignment Details Start February 2026 4 day workweek with 10 hour shifts 1 in 4 weeks on call first call from home 1 weekend per month required Clinical Details Inpatient rounding for cardiac and vascular surgery CVICU average 2–3 patients daily up to 8 CVSU average 2–5 patients daily including discharges Vascular service 4–10 patients ICU and floor Weekend census 15–30 patients solo coverage Level I trauma center EMR Epic Requirements Board Certified PA required Active Michigan license in hand BLS and ACLS required Experienced APP only no new grads Clean malpractice and license history preferred NPDB self query within 30 days Compensation Rates: Facility is accepting bids Malpractice: Provided Travel: Reimbursed
