*NP Abulatory MFM opportunity in Brookline, Massachusetts - 10 miles from Boston Details:
- This position is full time, 30 hours per week, day shifts
- Ambulatory MFM is a face paced outpatient practice caring for high risk obstetrical patients.
- Responsibilities include but are not limited to phone triage, lab review and follow-up, medication administration, and emergency management on the unit
- The NP will serve as a diabetes educator and resource for patients and staff.
- Responsibilities will include, nutrition/diet counseling, medication management, diabetes education and providing resources and support.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills as well as the ability to work as a part of a team are necessary for success in this position.
- This position provides direct patient care in an ambulatory care setting relative to physical diagnosis and therapeutic management.
- Works closely with faculty, fellows, residents and nursing staff to develop and coordinate a plan of care to meet the needs of the patient and their families.
- Training, evaluation and competencies for this role are overseen by a Nurse Leader to the department
