Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner opening – Conway, SC 10 miles from Myrtle Beach Position Details

  • Outpatient-only OB/GYN role
  • No inpatient responsibilities
  • No call
  • Standard schedule: 36 patient-facing hours + 4 hours of protected administrative time weekly
  • Fast-paced, high-volume ambulatory practice
  • Dedicated nursing and full clinic support
  • EMR: Cerner with Dragon dictation and Ambient AI
  • Team structure: - 8 physicians - 1 CNM - 1 GYN APP
Clinical Details See 25+ patients per day in a collaborative, team-based setting Comprehensive OB care including: - New OB intakes - Routine prenatal visits - Postpartum follow-ups - Prenatal counseling and education Full-scope GYN care including: - Annual wellness exams - Pap smears - STI screening and treatment - Contraceptive counseling and management (IUD and Nexplanon insertions/removals) - Diagnosis and management of abnormal uterine bleeding, pelvic pain, PCOS, menopause, and related conditions In-office procedures (if trained): - Colposcopy - Endometrial biopsy - Wet preps Manage urgent same-day GYN and OB visits including triage, diagnostics, and follow-up Requirements Board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner Minimum of 2 years of OB/GYN experience required Active or eligible South Carolina licensure Ability to manage a full schedule independently in a high-volume clinic environment Benefits Details $5k+ sign-on bonus Competitive guaranteed base salary (typically MGMA median): $120,000–$135,000+ Comprehensive benefits package: - Medical, dental, and vision coverage - Supplemental options including short- and long-term disability, accidental, cancer, and life insurance - Employer covers approximately 80% of employee premium and 50% of spouse/dependent premiums 401(k) retirement plan with employer match and no waiting period PSLF-eligible student loan repayment CME: 5 days annually plus $2,000 allowance Malpractice insurance with tail coverage Licensure and credentialing fees covered 24 days of paid time off Flexible scheduling supporting strong work-life balance Community Details Coastal South Carolina location with cost of living approximately 9% below the national average Highly rated public and private schools and access to a Division I university Mild climate with an average of 218 sunny days per year Minutes from Myrtle Beach with easy access to Charleston, Pawley’s Island, and other regional destinations Abundant outdoor recreation including boating, fishing, kayaking, hiking, and golf Diverse dining options featuring seafood, Southern cuisine, and international flavors
