Locums | Neurosurgery PA/NP | Clinic + Call | Tampa, FL Why This Role

  • Join a high-volume neurosurgery team at a top regional trauma center serving both adult and pediatric patients.
  • Collaborate with an experienced team of five neurosurgeons and four advanced practice providers.
  • Engage in meaningful inpatient and surgical work without outpatient clinic responsibilities.
Assignment Details Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call Setting: Inpatient and OR (no outpatient) Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week) or part-time (2 weeks/month minimum) Call: 1:4–1:5 rotation (weekends and nights) Support Staff: 5 Neurosurgeons and 4 APPs Trauma Level: II (Adult and Pediatric) EMR: Cerner Clinical Details Inpatient rounding and consults First assist in the operating room Adult and pediatric neurosurgical cases Collaboration with multidisciplinary hospital teams Requirements Board Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Active Florida license Minimum 2 years of neurosurgery OR experience Certifications: ACLS, BLS Compensation Rates: Facility is accepting bids Malpractice: Included Travel: Reimbursed
