Locums | Cardiothoracic Surgery APP | Clinic + Call | Hershey, PA Why This Role

  • Join a leading cardiovascular surgery program providing advanced surgical and critical care support.
  • Collaborate closely with a team of surgeons and APPs in both the OR and ICU.
  • Full-time locum opportunity with consistent scheduling and call rotation for continuity of care.
Assignment Details Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call Setting: Inpatient Schedule: 36–40 hours per week (typically three 12-hour shifts) Call: 1:6 rotation (6p–6:30a on weekdays, Fri 6p–Mon 6:30a weekends) Call Type: Beeper; from home (not in-house) Duties: OR first assist, endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH), ICU/floor rounding, and call coverage Equipment: Marquet EMR: Cerner Credentialing: 60–120 days Clinical Details Primarily OR-based with some ICU/floor coverage as needed Assist with cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures Provide postoperative management and rounding on assigned patients Requirements Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Active Pennsylvania license (required; IMLC not accepted) Current ACLS and BLS certifications Experience in cardiovascular surgery and endoscopic vein harvesting Ability to work full-time with call rotation Compensation Rates: Facility is accepting bids Malpractice: Included Travel: Reimbursed
