Orthopedic Physician Associate or Nurse Practitioner Opportunity Location: Astoria, OR Minimum 2 years Surgical Experience Practice Overview An established Orthopedic and Sports Medicine team in Astoria, Oregon, is seeking an experienced Orthopedic Physician Associate or Nurse Practitioner. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced surgeons and advanced practice providers, delivering high-quality outpatient and surgical care in a supportive community setting. Practice Details • General orthopedic practice specializing in hip, knee, and shoulder care, knee/shoulder arthroscopy, and basic fractures, with a strong focus on total joint replacements • Upcoming expansion with the addition of an Orthopedic Upper Extremity/Hand surgeon • Four-day work week with dedicated OR, outpatient, and administrative time • High-volume practice with collaboration among experienced surgeons and advanced practice providers • Autonomy in managing new and established adult and pediatric patients • Strong provider-to-support-staff ratio Compensation and Benefits • Guaranteed base salary with annual quality incentives • Hiring incentives, including commencement bonus and relocation assistance • Annual CME stipend with paid educational leave • Paid time off, holidays, and sick leave • Comprehensive benefits package, including retirement plan options with employer matching contributions Required Qualifications • Minimum of two (2) years of surgical PA/NP experience • Active, unrestricted Oregon Physician Associate or Nurse Practitioner license • Active, unrestricted DEA certificate • ACLS certification (American Heart Association) Physician Associate Requirements • Master’s or baccalaureate degree with completion of an ARC-PA approved program • Current NCCPA certification • Active, unrestricted Oregon Physician Associate license Nurse Practitioner Requirements • Master’s, post-master’s, or doctorate degree in a nurse practitioner program accredited by CCNE or ACEN
