Neonatology APP opening in Portland, OR covering 2 facilities Seeking 2 Neonatal NPs or PAs who have completed a 12-month Neonatal PA fellowship or residency program to join a well-established team of practitioners in Portland, Oregon. In this role you will provide clinical management of high-risk neonates and infants, patient education, and work collaboratively with medical, nursing and support services to provide high-value, family centered care. You will also exercise autonomy of practice in ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests to drive the patient treatment plans. Coverage provided at two local medical centers, both teaching hospitals with Level III NICUs, Maternal Fetal Medicine Consultation, and OB Hospitalist support. * Full-time, permanent opening * Hospital-employed * Inpatient only - covering 2 hospitals * Office available at both sites for use after hours and during the day * NNP has patients on their service but are a lot of unit-based support, attend deliveries and do all procedures * Physicians do the daily check ins with patients * No call & no admissions * Schedule: 12 or 24 hour shifts; 7am-7pm or 7am-7am * Currently 13 APPs * Average patients/shift: 10 & 22 * Delivery room volume: 3,000 & 4,500 * EMR: Epic * Competitive compensation and benefits!
