Cardiology APP opening in Maine * Located in *Presque Isle, ME* - 158 miles from Bangor * Full-time, permanent opening * Hospital-employed * Joining a stable practice with 4 Physicians & 2 CVNPs * Schedule: flexible, 4 or 5 days/week * Primarily outpatient - carry your own patient load * Some inpatient rounding & consults on the floor - midday blocked to help with timely discharge of patients for APPs * 24/7 in-house Hospitalist Team - handles inpatient admissions; manages ICU (6 bed, open) & Med Surg (25 bed) * No call responsibility, no nights, no weekends * Practice is located within hospital grounds; inpatient & outpatient, lab, and cath lab located near the office practice * Practice can place Pacemakers & ICDs; perform diagnostic cardiac catheterization (send to EMMC for stents), no open heart, TEE, cardioversions, loop recorder * They apply Bardy holter monitors, order stress echos * No tilt table testing * Cardiac rehab on site * Patients/day: 10-15 * Adults only * Open to new grads! * EMR: Cerner Requirements: * PA: will need to get cardiology certified * NP: Cardiology Certified * AGACNP: Cardiology Certified * FNP/AGACNP: experience in cardiac lab, cardiac clinic, or several years as an ICU nurse. Will need to get cardiology certified.
