Locum Tenens NP/PA Cardiothoracic/Cardiovascular Surgery - Tucson, AZ
Assignment Dates: June 1, 2024 - December 1, 2024
Rate: $130/hr (Negotiable)
Job Details:
- Work schedule: Monday Friday, hours may vary, but typically 8am to 5pm. Some weekends.
- EMR Systems: Athena in the office & Cerner in the hospital
- Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Some Weekends: No call, may need help rounding on weekends
- Practice Setting: Both Inpatient and Outpatient
- Admissions Required: No
- Facility Will Accept Multiple Providers: No
- Work Schedule: Monday Friday, hours may vary, typically 8am to 5pm. Some weekends.
- Percentage of Work: 40% hospital, 40% clinic, 20% ICU/rounding. Candidate will need to round on CT surgeon patients in the hospital.
- What is the length of assignment? (ex: 3 months, 6 months) 3 months at the very least
Requirements:
- Must be licensed in AZ.
- Board Certification/Eligibility Required: Yes, all APP providers are board certified.
- Related APP experience outside of training required.
- Clean History.
- Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS, DEA.
Additional Information:
- Support staff are available including an MA and Surgery Scheduler.
- No OR First Assist required.
- The candidate will not be required to perform EVH (Endoscopic Vein Harvesting).
- The focus is on rounding in the hospital, especially ICU, and managing patients in the clinic.
