Seeking Experience Cardiology NP/PA to join team of 25 physicians, 9 nurse practitioners, 4 physician assistants, and over 125 support staff members.
Job Details:
- Inpatient Only.
- APPs consult on patients in the hospital for cardiac care.
- Census varies dependent upon inpatient volume.
- APPs support docs in two hospitals to ensure LOS is not prolonged and testing and care are provided promptly.
- Responsible for incoming calls from outside referring hospitals and providers.
- 2+ years of cardiac-specific experience required.
- Hospital-based position with AM shift and Swing shift.
- Rotating weekend coverage, no call.
- Prevent, diagnose, and treat diseases of the cardiovascular system.
- Promote heart health and provide rehabilitation to those who've undergone surgery or treatment for heart ailments.
