**APP Neurosurgery Opening in Pocatello, ID**
Jackson, WY 141m; Salt Lake City, UT 164m; Boise 234m
Seeking an NP/PA to join our Neurosurgery team.
* Mon-Thu 8am-5pm; Fri 8am-12pm
* Perfect for an experienced nurse practitioner or physician assistant with interest in working in surgery and clinic setting.
* Operating Room experience as an ACNP or PA is required
* Assist Neurosurgeons in the operating room and clinic
* Assess, Plan, and Treat patients in coordination with the patient, family, and clinical team.
* Hospital Medical Group employed position
* 205 bed hospital, including 20 ICU beds, Level II Trauma Center
* Daily Patient Average: 14-18 clinic patients, plus OR days
* Excellent work + life balance

**Qualifications:**
* The ideal candidate will have a team-oriented, down to earth, flexible, and friendly personality to keep up with this busy practice.
* Must have excellent organization, follow-up and communication skills for dealing with patients, their families, physicians and other healthcare providers.
* Graduate from an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
* Licensed in the state of Idaho as a PA or ACNP by the time of employment
* DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority
* Idaho Board of Pharmacy Controlled Substance licensure by the time of employment
* Current BLS and ACLS
* Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
