**Bariatric Surgery PA opening in Kingsport, TN**
Johnson City 20m; Knoxville 95m
Seeking an Advanced Practitioner to join a well-established Bariatric and General Surgery practice at Medical Center in Kingsport, Tennessee.
* Full-time, Employed
* Inpatient and Outpatient
* Monday through Friday, occasional call/weekend rounding
* Patient demographics: 18 and over
* Prior Experience Required
* The selected candidate will provide high-level oversight including care from the initial patient point of contact to pre-surgical requirements, surgery, and post op follow-ups.
* Our team includes an expert surgeon, nurse practitioner, registered dietitians, registered nurses, psychologist, exercise physiologists, specially trained operating room staff, insurance specialists and client service representatives.
* The team is committed to assisting patients through every aspect of the surgical process.
* From educational seminars to pre-surgical classes to support groups, the team partners with each patient to ensure a smooth transition through each phase of the process.
* EPIC EMR
**What We're Seeking:**
* Experienced clinician preferred.
* Primarily outpatient care only; occasional help with rounding on patients in hospital and OR.
* Ideal candidate will have great communication skills and be team oriented, working collaboratively with the Bariatric Team and staff to identify the needs of the practice.
* Active PA Tennessee license
