  • MultiCare Regional Center is looking for Advanced Practice Provider Oncology Residents! Our APP residency program is one of the few in the country that offers postgraduate oncology training. This opportunity is a paid, full-time position with an immersive 6-9 month learning experience. This experience mirrors what physicians learn as they complete medical oncology fellowship training. Residents rotate through all services that touch cancer patients, including:

    • Nutrition services
    • Oncology pathology
    • Oncology pharmacy
    • Palliative care
    • Physical therapy
    • Radiation oncology
    • Surgical oncology

    The residency curriculum also includes:

    • Tumor board meetings: Trainees regularly attend tumor board meetings and start presenting patients cases after a few months of training.
    • Quality improvement project: All participants develop a quality improvement project and present a poster at MultiCare Institute for Research & Innovation’s Research Day. This one-day event showcases investigator-initiated research.
    • Mentorship: Residents receive ongoing feedback through weekly meetings with a program preceptor.
    • Online training: Completing the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) online advanced practitioner training programs is part of the residency. These programs offer CME credit. Registration fees are covered by MultiCare.


    The MultiCare Regional Cancer Center includes 13 medical oncologists, 2 gynecologic oncologists, 3 breast surgeons, 8 advanced level practitioners and 3 radiation oncologists. The MultiCare Regional Cancer Center is a network affiliate of the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance.

    Additional Preferences:
    • Previous practice experience in oncology is highly preferred but we are OPEN TO NEW GRADS

    • Preferred oncology experience as RN

    • If a PA-C, experience in oncology or related field is required

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $130,461.00 - $176,947.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
