The clinician will be the primary advance practice provider for patients on the SUD unit
Review ED notes regarding medical clearance
Assess patients for SUD and related medical issues
Coordinate care of SUD patients, under the supervision of the Medical Director
Ensure appropriate adherence to established SUD protocols
Obtain specific SU history and prior SU treatment
Review and evaluate appropriate use of medication supported treatment
Provide client education and screening for SUD-related infectious issues
