Locums – NP/PA Wound Care Opening | Batavia, Ohio
Key Details
Licenses & Certifications
Active Ohio (OH) License — REQUIRED
BLS — REQUIRED
ACLS — Preferred (for Hyperbaric Oxygen oversight/HBO)
Clinical Responsibilities
Managing a wide variety of wounds:
Skin reactions, vascular ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic ulcers
Acute, surgical, traumatic, burns, non-healing surgical wounds
Chronic venous insufficiency, pilonidal cysts, gangrene, radiation injury
Wound care procedures, including:
Debridement
Topical therapy application
Negative pressure wound therapy
Incision & drainage
Skin grafting
Bioengineered skin
Unna boot
Total contact casting
Hyperbaric Oxygen treatment supervision (HBO)
Duties Include
Comprehensive wound assessment and management
Preventative care and education for patients & caregivers
Dressing application and instruction
Management of draining wounds and fistulae
Implementing ulcer-prevention measures
