Perm Nurse Practitioner - Wound Care, Eastern New York

Looking to put down roots on the eastern bank of the Hudson River just northeast of the capital city of Albany? We are hiring a wound care nurse practitioner!

Job Details:

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, no weekends, no call
• Provider will:
• Have both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.
• Conduct thorough assessments of ostomy patients, including evaluation of wound status, skin integrity, and overall health.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each patient's needs, ensuring optimal wound healing and management of complications.
• Provide patient education on ostomy care techniques, skin maintenance, and prevention of complications.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure continuity of treatment.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and advanced wound care techniques to promote healing and prevent infection.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with regulatory standards and hospital protocols.

Job Requirements:

• Board Certified
• NY State License (or willing to obtain)
• WOCN Certification
• DEA (or willing to obtain)
• At least 1 year of NP employment experience, preferably in wound care management with an on ostomy care

• Competitive salary range with incentives: $114,430-123,584. (The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.)
