Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Nurse Practitioner with a procedural heavy focus to join our team at Personic Health. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical practice and a passion for performing various medical procedures. This position offers the opportunity to utilize advanced clinical skills while providing exceptional patient care in a mobile setting. Our organization focuses on advanced wound care services and procedures in assisted living and residential settings. Comprehensive training is offered for all wound care services, ensuring that all team members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality care to patients.

Job Responsibilities

This is a mobile practice, which requires you to travel to facilities and patients homes.
The job does require the ability to perform bedside wound care procedures.
The job does require the ability to position patients appropriately for optimal wound care.
Perform a wide range of medical procedures independently, including but not limited to procedures such as wound care practices, biopsies, debridement, experience working with cellular tissue products, suturing, injections, etc.
Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients presenting with acute and chronic conditions.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
Conduct patient education sessions regarding treatment plans, preventive care, and lifestyle modifications.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record systems.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to clinical practice guidelines.
Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing staff and other healthcare providers as appropriate.
Stay informed about the latest advances in medical technology, procedures, and treatments.
Critical to success in this role is the ability to exercise astute clinical judgment and decisive decision-making in assessing patient conditions, formulating treatment plans, and implementing interventions.
The Nurse Practitioner will be relied upon to adeptly navigate complex patient scenarios, drawing upon their clinical expertise to deliver optimal care and outcomes.

Qualifications

Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of vacancy.
Certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
1+ year of experience working as a Nurse Practitioner in a procedural heavy setting.
Demonstrated expertise in wound care management, including assessment, treatment, and ongoing monitoring of acute and chronic wounds.
Proficiency in the use of scalpels for procedures and wound management in clinical settings
Proficiency in performing a variety of medical procedures with a high level of skill and confidence.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
Willingness to pursue ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Working Hours

Job Type:
Full-Time
Monday – Friday 9 am – 5pm
Weekly schedule: 5x8
40 hours per week
(Occasional on-call responsibilities may be required as part of this position).

Work setting: In-person, on the road.
