We are seeking an experienced OB/GYN Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens opportunity in Bad Axe, Michigan. This is a clinic-focused role with a predictable weekday schedule, no call, and no weekends — ideal for providers looking for balance and continuity of care.

🩺 Position Overview

• Role: Locum Nurse Practitioner – OB/GYN

• Location: Bad Axe, MI

• Start Date: March 2, 2026 (or ASAP once credentialed)

• Assignment Type: Ongoing locums

• Priority: High

⏰ Schedule

• Clinic: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Every other week coverage

• 🚫 No call

• 🚫 No weekends

👩‍⚕️ Patient Care & Scope

• Patient Volume: ~18–25 outpatient visits per day

• Women’s Health and OB/GYN services

• Outpatient-focused clinic environment

• No surgical responsibilities

👥 Support & Technology

• Support staff: Medical Assistants & Receptionists

• EMR: Cerner

• Efficient clinic workflow

✅ Candidate Requirements

• Active Michigan NP license (required)

• Local provider only (travel not covered)

• DEA required

• Board Certified

• ACLS & BLS

• Minimum 2 years of recent Women’s Health / OB-GYN experience

• NPDB self-query (within 30 days)

• Malpractice coverage required (must be included in rate)

💰 Compensation & Logistics

• Submit best hourly rate

• Orientation paid at 50% of hourly rate

• Limited travel reimbursement:

  • Car, fuel, mileage, hotel capped at $150/day (taxes not reimbursed)

• Site uses DocTime (clock in/out required; no paper timesheets)

🩺 Health & Compliance

Immunizations required for clearance:

• Hep B, MMR, Varicella (series or titers)

• Flu (current season)

• COVID documentation

• TB (within 12 months)

• TDAP (within last 10 years)
