Job Title: Nurse Practitioner – Women’s Health
Location: Big Bear Lake, CA
Employment Type: 0.8 FTE, W2
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner to lead women's health services in Big Bear Lake, CA. This is a unique opportunity to establish and grow a women's health program in a medically underserved rural area. You’ll be supported by a mission-driven organization with extensive experience in maternal and women's health care.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive women’s health services across the lifespan.
Provide well-woman exams, contraception counseling, and menopause/HRT management.
(If trained/qualified) Provide support for prenatal, birth, and postpartum care.
Build relationships with local community organizations to improve access to care.
Participate in outreach and education to promote health equity and engagement in the local community.
Qualifications
Licensed Nurse Practitioner with strong women’s health experience (WHNP, or dual CNM-FNP preferred).
Willingness to relocate to or commute regularly to Big Bear Lake, CA.
Training or interest in receiving training in:
Long-acting reversible contraception (LARC)
Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) for menopause
Passion for rural health and community-based care delivery.
Spanish language proficiency is a plus.
