Permanent Nurse Practitioner – Urology
Position Type: Permanent
Specialty: Nurse Practitioner – Urology
Location: Vermont
Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Patient Population: Adult urology patients
- Setting: Physician office / outpatient clinic
- Responsibilities: Conduct patient evaluations, develop treatment plans, order and interpret diagnostic tests, assist in urologic surgeries and office procedures, provide patient education, manage post-operative and follow-up care, coordinate care with physicians and clinical staff
- Required Procedures: Assist with urologic surgeries and office-based urologic procedures
- EMR System: Cerner
- Support Staff: Urology surgeon, LPNs, medical assistants, and clerical staff
- Days Per Month: Monday–Friday full-time schedule
- On-Call/Weekends: Rotating on-call coverage; no weekend coverage required
Submission Requirements:
- Master’s degree from an accredited Adult Nurse Practitioner program
- Active Vermont APRN license
- Two (2) years of nursing experience in Urology
- Healthcare Provider CPR certification
- DEA license
- Credentialable by Brattleboro Memorial Hospital Medical Staff
- NPDB Self Query (within 30 days)
- Must not require visa support
