Job description
The Nurse Practitioner will:
- Assist the Urology surgeon in diagnosing and treating urologic conditions
-
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement treatment and care plans
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests
- Assist in urologic surgeries and office-based procedures
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, procedures, and treatment plans
- Manage post-operative and follow-up care
- Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff
- Adhere to universal precautions and OSHA bloodborne pathogen standards
- Work in an environment with potential exposure to blood, body fluids, and communicable diseases
- Perform duties requiring manual dexterity, patient handling, and clinical documentation
- Support departmental operations alongside LPNs, medical assistants, and clerical staff
- Practice under a supervising physician in a physician office setting

Qualifications
Active Vermont APRN License – [REQUIRED]
Two (2) years of nursing experience in Urology – [REQUIRED]
Healthcare Provider CPR Certification – [REQUIRED]
DEA License – [REQUIRED]
Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active) - [REQUIRED] * no exemption, required at presentation
Working Hours
$115,000 – $135,000 annually
Pay range provided in compliance with Vermont Act 155
Final compensation determined based on:
