Urology NP/PA Needed for Inpatient Coverage | No Call | Pittsfield, MA

We are seeking an experienced Urology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide 100% inpatient coverage at a hospital-based practice in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. This is a locum tenens opportunity with a predictable weekday schedule, no on-call responsibilities, and a strong collaborative environment.

You’ll work alongside a team of established urologists, focusing on general urology inpatient care and post-operative management. This role is ideal for an APP who enjoys hospital-based medicine without surgical responsibilities.

Assignment Details

• Location: Pittsfield, MA

• Dates of Coverage: February 2, 2026 – March 31, 2026

• Practice Setting: Hospital-Based | Inpatient Only

• Schedule Options:

  • 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

  • 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

• Patient Volume: Approximately 6–8 inpatients per shift (call volume varies)

• Procedures: General urology inpatient care and post-op management only

• Surgeries: No surgical assistance required

• Robotics: Not required

• Pediatrics: Not required

• Support: 5 urologists on staff, lab onsite

• EMR: Meditech

Requirements (All Required at Name Clear)

• Active Massachusetts NP or PA license

• AANP or NCCPA certification

• BLS certification

• Clean malpractice history and background

• NPDB self-query (within 30 days, required at presentation)
