Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our established Neurology Department in Hagerstown, Maryland.
This full-time, permanent opportunity offers a dynamic role combining outpatient and inpatient neurology practice. The NP will collaborate closely with supervising neurologists to provide comprehensive neurological care, manage chronic and acute conditions, and deliver exceptional patient experiences.

Essential Position Responsibilities
Conduct neurological assessments, review patient histories, and assist in diagnostic and treatment planning.
Manage follow-up visits for patients with chronic neurological disorders such as migraines, neuropathies, and seizure disorders.
Support inpatient neurology consultations as needed.
Collaborate with neurologists, nurses, and allied health professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EHR) system.
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, and disease management strategies.
Participate in quality improvement and continuing education initiatives.
Qualifications
Education: Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (MSN or DNP).
Licensure & Certification: Active or eligible Maryland NP license.
Experience: Prior neurology or inpatient experience preferred; strong new graduates encouraged to apply.
Skills: Excellent clinical judgment, patient communication, and interpersonal collaboration.
Language: Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
