We are seeking a skilled Neurology Nurse Practitioner for a 36-day locum tenens assignment in Illinois. This opportunity begins on Nov 17, 2025, and offers day shifts from 8 am to 5 pm with a flexible schedule across select weekdays and Saturdays. Responsibilities and Duties
- Treat patients with concussions and traumatic brain injuries (TBI)
- Administer greater occipital nerve (GON) injections and trigger point injections (training provided if needed)
- Utilize magnesium and natural treatment routes as preferred options
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
Additional Information
- Must be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in Illinois
- Neurology board certification required
- Candidate must have neuro experience (primary care or ICU backgrounds acceptable)
- Experience with TBI and concussions preferred; training on specific procedures can be provided
