**Urgent Care APP Opportunity in Sandusky, OH**
**Position Overview:**
Seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a growing urgent care team serving communities along the Lake Erie shoreline. This full-time opportunity offers a collaborative practice environment with a focus on providing high-quality, patient-centered urgent care services.
**Practice Details:**
- Full-time employed position
- Urgent care setting
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute illnesses and injuries
- Collaborative physician support
- Serve patients across multiple urgent care locations
- Regional service area of more than 300,000 residents
**Clinical Responsibilities:**
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and focused physical examinations
- Order and interpret laboratory studies, X-rays, ECGs, and other diagnostic testing
- Diagnose and manage acute medical conditions
- Prescribe medications as appropriate
- Perform minor office procedures including:
- Laceration repair
- Wound care
- Lesion and foreign body removal
- Punch and excisional biopsies
- Immunizations
- Phlebotomy
- Provide patient education and counseling
- Maintain accurate medical documentation
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and medical assistants
**Requirements:**
- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Master's degree from an accredited program
- Active Ohio NP or PA license
- DEA or eligibility to obtain
- Eligible for credentialing
- Minimum of two years of experience preferred
- Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills
