Location: Roanoke, North Carolina
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: Ongoing
- Dates / Schedule: Flexible; multiple locations within 60-mile radius may require coverage
- Call Requirements: None
- Patients Per Shift: Up to 40
- Board Certification: Required (Family NP or PA Cert, BC / NCCPA / NP Boards)
- State License: Active NC License required
- Certifications:
- BLS – Required
- DOT, PALS/ACLS – Preferred
- Fellowship: Not required
- Minimum Experience: 12 months
- New Grads: Not considered
- Patient Population: Adults and Pediatrics (6 months+)
- Medical Setting: Urgent Care
- High Volume Experience: Must handle busy patient load while maintaining quality care
- Procedures: I&D, laceration repair, ear irrigation, minor procedures
- EMR / Charting: Epic (modified training schedule; all visits must be charted)
- Supervision: HCO provides supervising physician for locum APPs; no direct supervision required
- Center Manager
- MA (Medical Assistant)
- PSA (Patient Service Assistant)
- Supervising Physician (offsite, for APP only)
- PPD / Patient Volume: Up to 60 PPD (average 40)
